We have a staff meeting every week where we get together, talk about upcoming events and reminders. Our general manager, Chad, started an idea where each week we choose a hero of the week. This is for an employee who has gone the extra mile in working hard or just made a positive difference at the bakery. Our 1st Hero of the Week was our assistant pastry chef, Maren!

Maren has been with us now for a year. She is a great asset to our team. You may have even seen her at the Philly cooks event back in February or recently at the Victory Brewing “Girls just wanna have suds” event. She is very knowledgeable of baking and pastry and stays on top of what needs to get done. She even comes in on the weekends when we have large pastry orders to be filled for our weddings that weekend. She has a great attitude and makes each dessert look their best for the weddings.
